From the Democratic Republic of Congo to driving sustainable development across the world
A passion for transforming communities through evidence-based solutions
Born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo, I witnessed firsthand the challenges and opportunities that define developing economies. Growing up in DRC, I experienced the daily realities of economic uncertainty, agricultural struggles, and the persistent hope for sustainable development that characterizes much of Sub-Saharan Africa.
These early experiences ignited my passion for understanding how data and evidence-based policy could transform communities. I saw the gap between academic theory and ground-level reality, which would later shape my approach to development consulting, always grounded in real-world context and community needs.
My educational journey began in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo, where I developed a passion for mathematics and physics at Collège Alfajiri. This foundation led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy at Université Évangélique en Afrique, where I discovered the power of applying scientific principles to solve real-world agricultural challenges.
Seeking to deepen my expertise at the intersection of agriculture and economics, I earned my Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nairobi. This program transformed my understanding of how data-driven analysis could unlock solutions for smallholder farmers across East Africa. Specializing in agricultural value chains and policy evaluation, I built the analytical framework that now drives my approach to development challenges across 15+ countries.
Armed with academic credentials and a deep understanding of African economic challenges, I began working across multiple countries, applying my knowledge to real-world development projects. From South Africa to Canada, from agricultural value chains in Ghana to financial resilience frameworks in Winnipeg, my career has been defined by the pursuit of sustainable, data-driven impact.
What sets my approach apart is the combination of lived experience in developing economies, rigorous academic training, and extensive field practice. I don't just analyze data, I understand the human stories behind the numbers and the cultural contexts that shape economic outcomes.
My mission is simple: transform complex data into actionable strategies that create lasting positive impact. Whether working with international organizations, government agencies, or private sector clients, I bring a unique perspective shaped by my journey from the DRC to global development practice.
I believe that the most effective development solutions emerge when rigorous data analysis meets deep cultural understanding and genuine community engagement. My multilingual abilities—French, English, Swahili, and Lingala, allow me to work effectively across diverse cultural contexts, building trust and delivering solutions that truly resonate with local communities.

The principles that guide my work and client relationships
Every recommendation I provide is grounded in rigorous data analysis and empirical evidence. I believe that sustainable development requires solutions backed by solid research and measurable outcomes.
Drawing from my experiences in the DRC and across Africa, I ensure that all projects prioritize community needs and local context. True impact comes from solutions that resonate with the people they're designed to serve.
I work as a strategic partner, not just a consultant. My multilingual abilities and cross-cultural experience enable me to build strong relationships with stakeholders across diverse contexts and backgrounds.
Every project is designed with long-term sustainability in mind. I focus on building local capacity, transferring knowledge, and creating systems that continue to generate value long after project completion.
My journey from the DRC to global practice has taught me the importance of cultural context in development work. I adapt my methodologies to respect local customs while delivering international best practices.
I constantly seek new analytical techniques, tools, and approaches to solve complex development challenges. My work bridges traditional economic analysis with cutting-edge data science methodologies.
What drives and inspires me outside of data and consulting
I'm passionate about staying current with emerging trends in data science, economic theory, and development practice. Currently exploring machine learning applications in agricultural economics and blockchain technology for financial inclusion.
I regularly mentor young African economists and data analysts, helping them navigate the transition from academic study to professional practice. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing the next generation succeed.
I maintain strong connections to my Congolese heritage through music, especially soukous and rumba. Cultural expression helps me stay grounded in my roots while working across different contexts globally.
I use photography to document the human stories behind development statistics. Images help bridge the gap between data and the real people whose lives are impacted by economic policy and development interventions.
Let's collaborate to create evidence-based solutions that generate lasting positive impact for your organization and the communities you serve.
